I remember someone on ebay trying to sell a lot of spares in a job lot a while ago. I'm sure that was Lancs too. Might be the same one, now ready to split!

Im sure at least one V3M member has tried to negotiate with this gent before. (i didnt suss who it was when I posted the link to be honest). hes been trying to move the lot as buisness, a colection, and now it seems as parts.

I bet theres plenty of goodness there, but up untill now, his valuation has always been near a retail price (for the lot), rather than an entusiasts value.

Hope someone can unleash the awesomness though!

I think you're right, he probably means "common-as-muck" floor trays

If he's prepared to split, might still be worth a visit for someone close by. It'd be interesting to know what colour his panels are too.

What if snow trays are snow caps?

I don't have cover that belongs under the engine bay, might be building one from sheetmetal or some kind of plastics, if I will not ever happen to come by with one.

If I'm not mistaken there are no any leaks in my engine bay, so would like to have it clean if I ever get to drive it

I have a transit to fill so transport is no problem, but £2000, somewhere to store it all and finding customers for it all and getting your money back in any reasonable time is. If he's had it for all this time and not sold it all bit by bit how come he expects someone else to? Maybe he's just hoarded it all not intending to sell or advertising it all. Either way I think it need's looking at. The cost of just storing it all even if buyers could be found for individual parts could be greater than the cost of buying it, it could take years! If he could be persuaded to break it up into smaller lots I'd be interested. Could do with a bulgy bonnet for the Mk1 project for a start!

I'd be up for a look. If a few of us get together maybe he would sell to a group? (and for less than £2000). Need to see condition of parts first!

My dad has had some 240 bits off him. I think he is tombutterworth or something like that on ebay. My dad did see if he would budge on the job lot price but he would rather sell off in dribs and drabs on ebay.

When you consider it is 90+% second hand stuff I think it would be lucky to get £1000 for it and also factor in since my dad spok to him over a year ago much stuff will have gone by now.

I spoke to this chap on the phone this morning.Although he did not have the mk1 alloys i am looking for,he
does have lots of stuff. I told him all about V3M and sugested he regester here so he could sell all his parts
here.He seems to be a spot on bloke.
