The sound of V3M

Post by Speedy88 » 03 Feb 2011 01:39 am

I'm risking a music topic here. I've wondered what V3M's musics taste is for a while. Post your youtube vids (or something else) here and face the abuse of everyone else.

There's a catch. It actually has to be or has been on your car's soundtrack at some point. That means a modern music lover like me gets caught out with old classics like this:

You can also include anything you've added to your car soundtrack just to get recognition in this topic :D

I tried to move on from DnB to Dubstep but I find a lot of the popular stuff too simple. This kinda stuff rocks my sub though 8)

Sorry old timers.

I believe we have somewhere some buried topic about what music we consider good?

Anyway, try these:

Those have been my favorites during the week, however I can perfectly well go 6 moths without listening anything, I like a lot from sound of soundless room

This topic apeared just in time,

sadly the 340's spent a lot of time in the shed recently

Not that it has a radio anymore anyway so even when it had been out Ive been listening to a B14.E through a stainless centre section.
However I can maybe bend the rules by telling you that while Ive been working on the car Ive been listening to radio 1. I prefer working in the evening (Zane Lowe, Huw Stevens) mostly good new music. If it wasnt so dusty and dangerous up there I would take my decks, but I wouldnt want my records getting to oily.

Right now how about some music from: Mount Kimbie, Untold, Sepalcure, SBTRKT, Joy Orbison, Surgeon, Adam Beyer, Slam, Paco Osuna, Milton Jackson or Arctic hospital?

While coocking / eating, I just love these:

As I'm just having breakfast, I felt like having some of those playing, I used to hate opera, but as with age preferences changes and even I still don't like many of opera, those Italian ones are pretty nice 8)

Thats a choon and a half!

Same as everyone, i like pretty much everything. Apart from this era of "pop". Its all auto tuned, electronic stuff, no one plays any instruments anymore. Thats just me mind.

Some of me favourites

Billy Joel - we didnt start the fire http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9cci8iWv-g

Bit of break beat, Glicth Mob - Nalepa monday remix http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VtnVduIY75Y

Aaaaand a bit of soft metal - Van Halen - Humans being http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNOiRTdnSDw

Also classical, Jack johnson, Rise Against, Rolling stones. I could go on forever. Those above though are most recent driving tunes.
