I'm at College (new college durham), not uni. I'm doing a National Diploma in Graphic design, after getting only 2 A-levels (B grade in product design :D ). Next year I'm doing a Foundation Degree in Graphic design. At the same time I'm doing a City & Guilds Level 1 in MIG welding :D

Sweet some cool courses. Theo, when you say swansea uni do you mean swansea metropolitian? Im at the bigger uni, the one on the front by the sea (apprently the seconded closest uni to the sea in the world)

I wont be in swansea next year, I have a placement year.

Helsinki University, Finland. Agricultural engineering, little bit of environmental engineering, minor in economics and I'm currently doing my master's thesis for MTT Agrifood Research Finland about this yet somewhat confidential methane catalyst thingie.. (broad enough system description I think.. :D) Hopefully I'll gradute in a year or so. Good thing about doing the master's thesis for someone who pays for it is that it's a very good motivation to get it done.. :D

Graduated last year, did IT but wish I'd done engineering now. Nice to have a good understanding of software though I guess, computers can be interesting too at times. I never want to do another bloody assignment again.

Agri engineering sounds cool, your masters sound interestings

talking of assignments I have done nearly 5,000 words since wednesday, who said engineers dont have to do writing. Subbmitted a peice of group work last term that was 15,000 words, and was only worth 4 credits haah!

Evoman wrote:Haha not another volvo owner that does mountain biking, what bike do you have?

The biking here is good man you missed out, some proper riding 10 mins and 25mins ride from campus. Ye car are more my thing but i wanted to say broad and do have an interest in products, plus i was concerned that having a job with cars may destroy my hobbie, this way i can choose. Is the plan.

Im in my 2nd year of Meng, I have a placement year next year if i find one. I didnt do a foundation year. Scarly this year the intake grades for my course are 3 As appprently the highest in the uni. Glad i got in when I did lol
In answer to your other comments, without spamming theo, I have 3 :D Charge mixer Road bike, Santa Cruz Chameleon, and a Commencal combi disc. Used to have a Demo 9 DH bike, but found i wasnt using it. Sold it, and got a car  WINZ
Ive got ashton court round the corner, FOD and wales and the mendips 30mins drive away in each direction. Leigh Woods too. Fantastic in the summer. Bristols trails in the winter are pretty unridable though!

I did the foundation year because i stuffed one of my A-levels, maths. Ended up finding it alot easier at uni. Very near fail in A levels, Uni = 80%+ Howd that happen? 8) Not sure bout placement yet, as I'll be at uni for a long time anyway!
