Well done mate, but it will get harder. Your mind will play tricks to convince you thats it ok to have one, have your reasons-not-to at hand when it comes. Write them down! 2 Weeks to clear out the chemicals, then a psychological battle.. apparently.

Don't you dare trying to post here that your attempt has failed. I'll personally book a ticket over to the UK and slap you for it.

If it's any consolation, I've given up coffee, alcohol and chocolate for Lent. Or whatever the German equivalent of Lent is.
It's a nightmare
Coffee is the worst, particularly in the mornings. My tea consumption has trebled.

I really don't get the whole "giving up chocolate for lent" thing. Even giving up beer seems a bit silly. Why stop yourself having enjoyment? (Other than religious reasons). Every year it seems bizzare to me. I mean cigs I get, theres nothing good about them really.

Too many bodies lying on floor after drinking, bad side effects

Because it's the most difficult. I drink gallons of the stuff normally.

Weight, health, not getting too used to things... A break from some things can't do any harm.
Giving up posting on Volvo forums for Lent might be an idea for next year
