SLEEPERS

im always looking up sleepers, mainly cause i like original cars with a bit of poke :wink:
and cause its funny to laugh at the local twat in an astra haha
so thought i would start a little sleeper thread.
i quite like this little sleeper, bit expensive tho.
would love to see some more if anyone has found any

Its a '79 Btw.
Got the car free, and I always wanted a TurboDiesel 240, so I built it.
Engine from an '85 740 turbodiesel.
Did a bit of modification to the cross member to get the engine to fit correctly.

Just looked at that... what definition actually gives a sleeper? As I wouldn't have thought that's much quicker than Fake. Still be amusing though!

Moskvitch Elite from Finland. Original Moskvitch block, dual charged. Nicknamed "Killer Moskvitch". It looks like it was built from scrap parts but it's actually a very well built package underneath. :D Very much a function over form type of a car.

That thing is also street legal somehow.. it was reviewed in one Finnish car program and all modifications are in registration papers. :D

This 142 from Sweden ain't too subtle but the pic is so awesome I had to post it. :D
