im 25 have 4yrs no claims and have been driving for 5 yrs and have just been quoted by footman james on classic car policy including
fully comp
1989 volvo 340 gl 3 door standard
unlimited milage
breakdown cover uk and eu
90 days eu driving cover
£100 excess
all for a bargain price of £150 what a result

Christ. I might have to ahev a look into footman james. That quotes bloody awesome! I'm paying a lil over a grand. The price of not owning a car for 3 driving years, and being 21, and male. Guh. My excess is £250, hald the price of the car. Whats the point in me having insurance, I wont do £250 worth of damage to a car! Bring on older age!

Ive spoken to FMJ a few times.
Twice they wouldnt quote me at all, and once they were highter than my standard insurance with Admiral.

Im only on 1yrs ncb though.

Yup, theyre brokers at the end of the day, so depends whats on offer when you ring.

Im deffo gonna try them again next year though.

Only one insurance company will insure me currently with all the mods and my age. And it's only £900

Adrian Flux - although they had a shakup last year, changed clients which means that not many of the original ones still exist. I only got £900 because they wanted to keep me as a customer. Try them but don't expect anything.

I insured my GLS with them for £126 last year... but it had to be garaged... and I thought I had a good deal

I driveway park mine with FJ, pay £106 this month for renewal with FJ.


and that's for 3* cars.

just insured it today and the original quote was £150 but today i got it for £128 even better the guy said if i was a registered voc member i would get it for £108 but the membership is £30 so thought £128 was a steal
