Best appreciated when open.
I probably should have specified ladies legs in there too. [+=] "embarrarrased emoticon"[].com

^ I think it's safe to say it's been built with function over form in mind.

this is (was) a proper racer though, tubular chassis with a V300 body thrown onto it, i believe it is no more; caught fire on a testday or sth. the owner/creator did the same to a 343 and this is what happend; the most powerfull V300 known today:

Finally pic did appear.

That does look like to be a proper race car, function defines the form, not like stupid tuner bodykits that are not working aero components, they just try to look 'cool' failing in it miserably.

In that red 300 from section looks to be properly reducing lift from front, which is bit of issue in 300 when going more than speedlimit allows, sides guide air to rear, it has probably radiator at rear too, also sides keep air from coming under car, keeping air out from ugly underside, reducing cd quite a bit. Also rear part probably offers cooling to tires in controlled fashion, which is important when racing on circuit.

Pretty has no room in racing, when going trough 64th front airdam, you start to value functioning simple form which is made in minutes at garage, slapped back in and back to track.

Girly pretty things that does not even work seem to be just todays norm, that is silly.

Now this is something I like

Oversteer: The rear of the car hits the wall,
Horsepower: How fast the car hits the wall,
Torque: How far the car pushes the wall.

Hi all.
White one looks much better.
With that nose cone, it must be at least 30 years old.

It's the same car!

The current owner (KRB Trading guy) built the car when it was red, then he sold it and then after years he bought it back and re-did it completely..

http://www.krbtrading.no/volvo/cms/19

It had a high reving B14 Turbo at some early stages of it's life.. the car has had very interesting engine choices during the years.

There's a magazine article about the car and it's different stages. I can post it when I'll get home.
