Hi all.
It is with regret that i have to say i am not in good health.
I have a condition known as C O P D(Chronic Obstuctive Pulminary Disease)
Work has put me out on the moby dick for two months to see if i get any better.
Does any of the rest of you troops have any health issues?
This topic is a little different than the useuall.
Cheers Mark.

I'm VERY sorry to hear Mark! I do hope you feel better soon! :(

I'm just battling with the common cold at the mo, and (apart from being domestically challenged, so I'm told by my gaf) I'm doing alright.

Ahhhh dude, that sucks balls.
Good job you gave the shit-sticks up!

Does morbid obeseity and borderline alchoholism count as illness?
If not, put me down for type two diabetes and corronary heart disease (its just a matter of time.)

Beware ebay while youre on the Pat & Mick dude. Its all too easy to accidentally purchase cars/parts/tat in the afternoons!

Hope the rest does you good fella.
All the very best.

Hi all.
Thanks everyone for the kind words.
Matty, tell your dad he has great taste in music
I smoked for 35 years from 1976 to 2011 and i worked in the Bar trade
from 1978/99. In those days before the smoking ban, anyone working in the Bar trade smoked everyone elses
ciggarettes as a matter of life.Passive smoking was not even thought of.
Cheers Mark.

Sorry to hear your health issues MCHUDD, hopefully situation will at least stabilize and even better if it would get better.

I have Asthma, diagnosed but has not bothered me until about a month ago, lot of wheezing, hard to breathe etc.

Then according to diagnostics my memory fits in normal category, but I know better that my memory is nowhere near what it has been, simply put I forget why I was walking to other room about 50% of times I go to pick up something from other room etc. They say it is normal, I say it is not, I know that my memory used to be a lot better than average, for example I just needed to hear once username and password, no matter how complex and I did easily remembered that after a month, even if I write down, I forget that I did wrote down such now, has been some 8 years at least like that.

Most annoying is that I forget why I'm talking with someone and especially I have no idea what I was saying middle of sentence, it is like someone would hit my head with a log, just suddenly everything disappears and I find myself in place where I have no idea why I'm there, luckily in second or so I start to remember things bit by bit and usually can recover more or less, but when this happens 10 times a day or more, it starts to be a bother.

I'm too young to retire (also I have nothing wrong according to doctors), I'm too old to start new career and constantly too tired to do anything, so things are going really nicely, well always could be worse.

Hi Jani.
I try not to grumble too much. There is always someone worse of than me.
A bloke in my job has just lost his daughter in Afganastan. He is not at my station but we all know him.
It puts things in perspective.
Cheers Mark. :340: :360:

Hi Mark,

really sorry to hear that mate, as sven360 says the main thing is, you've managed to quit. Give yourself some time and patience to recover.

Cheers

Tom

Have a good time, Mark ... First I've heard about the soup ;-) You can't go wrong with sausage and beer though.
