Do. It yourself chap. Measure from front wishobe bush to diagonally opposite rjacking point spring hanger. Then front the compression strut pickup to diag opposite. Then both fronts to same side jacking point spring hanger. Make a note of each for reference.

Some final adjustments to the holey layer (bellows? diaphragm I guess)
Interestingly, the proper Volvo panel is a fold short at the bottom, so will have to make a plate up for here

Forgive me Chris if you've later corrected this at a later stage in the thread and I may be wrong, but...

From what I can see of this repair, the Volvo panel is correct and IS NOT short of a fold at the bottom. As you can see from my badly lined overlays, the Volvo outer sill panel only goes as far as the white dotted line on the outside, the bit below is the bottom edge of the membrane sill with the round holes in it. That extends down to the red dotted line - bottom edge vertical flange with the drainage holes in there. Something like.....

The main sill ducks behind the rear sill about half-way underneath the rear door (green bit) The rear sill is one piece with the rear wheel arch (orange bit - lineage wrong at the back, but you get the idea).
That's the impression I get from your pics. I should really root around Ride-on's repairs to see http://www.volvo300mania.com/forum-uk/v ... f=5&t=8733 (or just get round to starting my own job  )

You are quite correct MP, I found this when doing further up the sill to be the case. I've never updated the thread!
