Well as everything else is going so great, it appears that snowing had been bit more severe than other years and my garage tent did collapse, of course 343 was inside of it.

Some of you might already know that my health has not been the A1 lately, lungs are not working perfectly so I have been very tired, absolutely no physical strength and really bad issues with memory too, so despite I had in mind to remove at least part of the snow I forgot it for two days, which was too long as garage tent decided to give up.

So I have been doing what I have could and attempting to dig snow out from there so I could even see the damages, but process is very slow because of my condition.

Did not really surprise me as for quite some time everything I have touched has been destroyed or damaged.

Anyway have to attempt to get snow removed before more comes, despite whizzing breath and all, even if I do get snow removed, I'm not sure if I can lift up or remove the tent, it is quite heavy and dismantling it to pieces when car is inside and while it being in collapsed state is probably quite difficult. Also not sure if extra damage can be avoided.

If thing head to worst I have to sell every car and quite bit of other stuff too in future and so far it has always been heading to worst.

Well I'm terribly sorry to hear about your health. and then for this to happen i imagine you must feel like the world is just taking the piss. I'm sure some helpful soul do here will help if they are local though. i believe i speak for the forum when i say hope things turn around for you soon.

This sounds bad Jani! If I was within 1000 miles I'd come and dig it out for you!
At least it's a tough old car, maybe the roof saved it from the full force of the snow?

I'm out of work since I took redundancy. if V3M members have a whip round and pay for my air fare I'll come and help, I have nothing better to do!

I know lung diseases can be hard too, I had surprise pneumonia before xmas and it was F*CKING HORRIBLE.

Meh, I can manage, takes just bit more time, but it is sometimes bit frustrating to have constant opposing wind.

Good part is that it did collapse to one side, so as it did not came fully down there is bit more hope, however some dents and scratches are possible, probably nothing more, but will know when I get digged snow out and dismantled tent part out, which I think is best approach, then need to dismantle skeleton and if skeleton is repairable, I try to put it back together.

Even if one step forward results two step backwards, if one keep stepping forward it at least looks like one is still moving

I have lived with chronic ME for 21 years and find some days I can barely get out of bed (nobody can teach me anything about lack of energy).

The important thing to remember (which I frequently forget) is that a car is just a car, your heath is all important! Listen
to your body, don't push yourself, get well before worrying about cars.

I really wish you well, but however low you feel remember there are always those worse off than us. With friends you are never truly alone.

Very sorry to hear this Jani, as Mac says, your health is the most important issue. If you're not able to dig it out straight away sod it, and wait for it to thaw ...

Shit dude. There seems to be a lot of unwellness going round. Sorry to hear you're still not great.

I'm sure the car will sit patiently till summer man. Dont tire yourself out digging a machine out. It will only wonder why you are doing it.

Indeed, we are lucky for example there that we happen to live in rich western country, those in 3rd world would have in a lot worse position already, also there are far worse issues with health than these.

Our shop has issues with meat deliveries so no meat for a week, daily trip to shop is around 10km with bicycle, so today again I make that trip again, at least nobody can blame about moving too little

Arse hurts already...

I need to really move that snow before new snow comes as it has been forecasted wet again and that would make whole car to be soaked wet, even from inside as windows are partly open and also windshield leaks really badly. I do what I can, not more of course.

Well, I have had few better days so I could work a bit with getting snow off from garage. At least bonnet is crushed and deformed, not sure rest of bodyshell, windows seem to be ok, but there is lot of weight at top corner of windshielf at roof, so don't know about damage for that area yet, bit difficult to gain access as there is ice and snow on way.

Quarter thickness off amount of snow that was covering area of half of bonnet did weight bit over 100kg, barely could push that away, so in total few thousand kg on top of car, I have no very high hopes for recovery really...

Bit better, not excellent, still pushing forward like always, albeit snails are overtaking

Anyway I'm learning programming and I have crazy idea of making programs and games for phones and make my living off from that in year or two, so I'm focusing mostly to learning software development by myself off from interwebs, keeps me busy and not worrying too much.

I have not driven car for many months, I did move french crap on yard to get better access to garage and managed to reverse to house so that side of bumper to door area got nice scratches, well more black magic and it is like a new again, small battle scars just make street credit for it, no fake rat you see, real deal.

House did not suffered at all.

Only thing that is not failing miserably is coding, which is odd, but can't complain, if there is even one thing that still works for me, then I'm happy.
Hard work, but also some way relaxing work.
