Or am I wrong?
I think it's mostly the same as before, in different words. There's just an official section for it now. If the spings do not re-seat when the car is lowered back down off a jack, it's a fail. Solve this by using metal zipties (foar extra JDM y0!)

One skull might need bandage (plaster? what those were called again?) sticker, or forget sticker out from it and put real one

You don't have any furry fetish? covering hood with fur might be something to do for such small roundly shaped car.

Meh, I should start putting some rivets to mine, loosely attached parts are starting to be too loose again, I have used car too much as a giant snow shovel...

It does the job for now though doesn't it? Plus you get lows until you can afford proper springs.

Honestly, I can't see the problem in using this method as a temporary solution.

Git ;)

Chopped springs make car look good but handle badly. Why make car look good if going to be shown up at the first opportunity? These things confuse Chris.

You might as well just buy a BMW if you want disappointment *shrug*

I know how you drive cars Chris. This isn't necessarily how VND drives

Chopped springs are a massive unknown until you've done it. For example, 940s generally improve with the addition of chopped springs. I would say that in the case of a yaris, yeah it'd probably make it worse that standard due to the weight of the car. But this would only be noticeable when pushing the limits, which I'm going to guess isn't exactly VNDs style (No offence dude, I've just considered you a low and slow kinda guy  ).

Waaaagh! Chopped springs discussion all over VND's topic. Hope you get some sports springs soon dude, should look great nearer the floor :D

Best improvements can be seen by removing the springs

Not really.

Handles as you would expect a japanese fwd to.
Predictable, but throwable. Sticks pretty well, but then has no real power.

Ah, I see what you mean.
As Chris is a Semi-Pro, but I drive to the supermarket like a baus is 5th gear all the way!
5th gear is the fastest gear. Even at 30mph.

I could not use 5th today, major disappointment, alternator belt liked to squeal below 2000rpm, now with your Japanese synonym of reliable there are no such issues where one needs to replace belts every 1000 mile because pulleys got polished when local garage did not have proper special tool to set tension of alternator belt, so now I replace belts every 1000 miles or pay insane sum of money for stupid rubber filled pulley thing that requires probably few special tools for removal and install.

My 300 had no such issues, too bad I can't afford to drive it, maybe I should too get some japanese ugly thing that is synonym of reliability. I think that in many ways this wheels of VND is best he has shoveled money at, good mpg and almost no service costs.

Oh, frenchie needs new MOT again, I have done almost 600 miles since last one I believe, maybe I should change oils, belt and check fuel level, oh and probably some balljoint has failed since last MOT  For some reason I feel grumpy again...

French Vs Jap......... You may be right.
Im surprised your french shite has lasted as long as it has dude. You seemed to be swearing at it years ago, but its still going. Maybe its you alone thats keeping it going. Under a lesser owner, it may have died long ago.

Only reason it is still going is because it is old school mechanical diesel. Even though at cold mornings it blows smoke and turbo is not boosting. This winter french crap rear brakes did fail, there was bit of symptoms at autumn already, but it started loosing brake fluid faster than I could keep filling. Silly part is that parts are wearing out even I'm not driving it

I can't sell things, I'm just not good at it, but I hope that after getting MOT I could sell that and put money to proper bicycle or camera. Now I think that you will face bit different dilemma of sorts in future, your little car is probably refusing to die, it probably will not even consume any parts, now be careful or you end up several years of same car that simply refuses to die, also you could leave keys in and car unlocked because nobody ever steals a Yaris, so even that way of getting rid of it is not possible

Need more black rattle cans, got some dirt to car, so it is time to 'wash' it again, with new layer of matte black
