This website links to PDF versions of the Volvo 300 series parts catalogues:

Some nice pics in the "history" section too.

Enjoy!

Cheers

Good find! Finally found out what the -x is after a part number too :D (on the front page of the pdf)

EDIT: Just gone through the history page, couple of things that were either different in the UK to else where, or not quite accurate, but great write up none the less, not seen many to that depth.

Where is that exactly? Couldn't find it ...

It does look like a translation of something Dutch, probably "Volvo in Holland" ...
There's some good info on Volvo Colour Codes too:
http://www.volvotips.com/index.php/gene ... lor-codes/
although that information is published elsewhere as well.

Bottom of the cover page of the 85onwards one, it's the date code for when that part was added to the catalogue

Sorry to hi-jack this, but I still prefer the version on the BBB website, http://www.born-built-beauties.eu/html/ ... boeke.html, the bookmarks will let navigate a lot faster through the books.

The "Volvotips" version does have bookmarks, but you need to download the file and not view it in your browser. Your version is in english though, so thanks for the link!

Ideal would be a "searcheable" PDF though, I've seen Volvo PDF catalogues for other model ranges which allow this.

Cheers

Tom

Ideally it would, but it takes long enough just to scan them. I've tried doing some before from paper docs and cleaning up the scans, straightening and then trying to get the OCR to work is a complete nightmare...
