Weather is like a bride, 1.5 hours of very strong thunderstorm, still going strong, all of our firetrucks have gone somewhere with flashy lights and sirens on, not much water has came down, but quite nice otherwise. Probably end of high heat that we have had here.MCHUDD wrote:Hi all.

Daytime temps have been between +27C and +28C many days, today was major thunderstorm, 11600 strikes in a hour and at closest weather station it did rain 40mm in hour, total of 70mm in single rain shower.
Here not much of rain, everything is so dry.
Should be cooler temperatures from now on though.

Re: Sunny Day In Belfast
I've been having the last remaining vacation days of the last year because those would've expired soon and I still have all of the 30 days of this years vacation days to keep... Maybe I can fit in one or two vacation weeks at the end of the summer.
I've been at the summer house @ Iisalmi for the past week, I'll be going back to Helsinki at sunday. Weather has been great, a bit too hot though because I've been building a tool shed so +28 degrees Celcius (82.4 degrees Fahrenheit) in the shadow is not the best temperature for such a job... Especially when I didn't get an excavator for the foundations and I dug everything with a shovel. Well it's good exercise!
