CVT mechanic in Birmingham area

Post by classicswede » 02 Sep 2013 09:24 am

A friend of my dads is now the proud owner of a 340 CVT and wants it looking over to make sure everything is working correctly. He was told the belts needed replacing, I suspect they might do to age but more likely they need adjusting. The car has been stood for a long time so it does need a good looking over.

He is does not do any DIY car repairs himself so needs someone to work on it for him. Is there anyone who wants a bit of paid work looking after his car for him or know of somewhere he can take it?

Where abouts is he based? I know of a small garage that I've always taken my cars to and he quite often works on older stuff.
