Let's begin 2014 with a new website!

Post by Duvel78 » 03 Feb 2014 03:57 am

:-)

Sorry for the delay guys... A lot of things to do and not enough time! But here we go, I'm proud to present the new site and board structure. It's NOT finished at all, so please don't scream because things are not working, or missing... I know lol!

They are some bugs, it's a new baby, so don't worry. A LOT a topics from the old board are not visible yet because they are not dispatched to the right category, it's a huge work to check everything, I'll do it step by step!

More information tomorrow, time to sleep!!!

Cheers

Thank you for putting all the effort and time in.

Now before you pull the plug out again, please give some notice of scheduled outages. Lack of access to PMs was rather problematic at the time it took place.

Thanks mate. No worries, it's now running for the 10 next years lol.Sorry for this but I had to edit the database, change tables, edit config files of the board, it was impossible to make it accessible at the same time.

Oh dear.. Did you check the links section? That will ease your pain! lol

Thanks Dai, great to hear. Check the links section too, I didn't forget you :-)

Thanks! Don't worry, it will never close again for such a long time. It was supposed to be done quicker, but because of bad surprises, some config problems and relatively not so much time to perform the works, I had to extend the closing. Maybe you don't realize all the work but i can guarantee it's a huge job. I can tell you, I really have sacrificied 4 weekends, but it's for the right cause! Sorry for the PMs, hope it's ok now.

Ah, I hadn't noticed yet! I remember that first drive after having just bought it, listening to every noise, worried something could break ;-) The way you do, on your first trip in a "new old" car.

I like the new website a lot, including all the pictures in the header!

Cheers

I say chaps, this is most convivial, what?
Terms and conditions apply. This post may go down as well as up. Regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Hard hats to be worn. No reversing without a banksman. No admittance to unauthorized persons. Stop that. Put that down. Leave that alone.

Yeah the slideshow contains +/- 10 cars for the moment, you have to stay on the page to see it all :-)
