True, because I'm regularly adding thousands of posts into the right categories, they have to be checked first and dispatched to the new created sections... Be patient please!

When logged in I can not access any of the technical sections of the forum however when not logged in I can read all of it?



Is this just short term while the forum is moved around and sorted?

I have the same issue. Thought the forum had decided to ostracize me, so I'm glad to hear it's happening to someone else too!!!

I'm having the same troubles, I can only open the Engine forum! I wanted to start topic to introduce my 360 but have no permission to do so..

Same I can only enter the engine forum, but can go everywhere when not logged in.

Problem solved! Had nothing to do with wrong permissions for the normal users group, just a surprising "no role assigned" for some forum categories, so no access It's now adjusted! Please check!

Thanks, yes it works now (though my threads haven't made it through yet!).

Normal, as I said in another topic, I still have to check a lot of messages (thousands!) in an invisible category yet and dispatch them to all the new categories. I'm doing it regularly each day but don't expect from me to do this in 3 days time LOL

Images in signatures: Showing ok for pre-existing signatures, won't work for editing signatures.

Possibly related: Avatar auto sizing. "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image"

Going into edit my avatar, image is 100px x 100px on screen. (actual image size is 120px x 100px)

Pressing "submit" with null values in the dimension boxes, produces error "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image".

However, if dimensions are entered (120 x 100 in this case), image is updated fine and no error:

120px images next to PMs too wide for template and spill over white vertical dividing line...

Something similar occurs when view on mobile devices, or more precisely, when the browser window is reduced in width beyond a certain point:

Macplaxton, for the "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image", I just checked very quickly, seems to be a specific PHP parameter to be activated by the hosting (allow_url_fopen = on), they didn't activated it, there must be a reason. I added php_flag "allow_url_fopen" "On" in a .htaccess, do you see a difference? Refresh everything before!

Avatar too large for PM: true, same problem here, dimensions inside of the template to adjust, or avatar auto resize, don't know yet.

Display on mobile devices is just fine (trust me, I've tested on iPad, several tablets, phones...) The problem is when you manually ajust the window below the board width, the avatar begins to cover the separation line and in the worst case the text, that's true. Maybe I can find one solution for both avatars problems.

Good observation, it wasn't meant to be possible, new topics have to be created inside of existing categories. I moved the topics manually and will see how to deactivate this.

I know you are still trying to sort through old threads to correctly categorise them, but is it possible in the meantime just to put them somewhere temporary so that they are accessible? There are loads of old threads that I want to look at but can't.

Please PM me the threads with subjects in your mind that you would like to see again, I just did the same with Helldriver, I'll treat them prioritarily!

I really appreciate your offer Dai! I'll evaluate the progress in a couple of weeks and if I still have a ton of messages to check & categorise, we could imagine splitting the work, I'll see. Having said that, some important changes in my life shortly will probably affect the reduced time I already can spend for Volvo's , more in the introduction section
