Is my brother sane?

Post by classicswede » 13 Mar 2014 10:38 am

Is using a 240 to tow start a 18 ton lorry a good idea?

I knew it, I recognised his surname, I've bought bits off of him and he has given me great info. I wouldn't hesitate to buy parts from Matt again, great guy.

The video only plays for a second then stops :( I will try it on the desktop later

The real question is whether it's genetic or infectious.

I think it is a combination of the both and my dad seems to be the root of the condition. Just on the towing side of things he has used his amazon to tow start a old Dexter tractor and one with a tipping trailer still coupled loaded with over a ton of gravel. Then thee was a time when someone had run out of petrol. My dad already had his HA van trailer behind his 240 so rather than mess about he stuck a top on this broken down ital van and tied it to the trailer to tow it just over a mile to the fuel station.

My niece who is now living at my dads is going out with a lad that used to work with me. Funny enough he is now driving a 340 and I think Matt is doing a turbo conversion on it this weekend with him.
