Hello and welcome.
343/5 modols are very rare now. Can be found in Holland sometimes.
Better chance of finding a 340/60. Good luck.

If you look hard you'll find a pre-1981 car. They are hiding.

Hi JFB,

What condition are you looking for? There are two 343 with CVT for sale in Meppen, Germany, but the ad says they are not "road ready". The white one allegedly starts and runs ok. They also come with some spare parts. They were kept in a dry barn for 15 years. Price is 250 € for the yellow one, and 350€ for the white one.

Hi mate.

The white one will be an 84 or 85 MY, with those door mirrors. The yellow one is a 76 or 77 model year, more likely a 77 but one can't tell without some more detailed pics or the chassis number. For €250 it's a total bargain, why can't it be in this country???

Hello neighbour and dear friend

Guys, JFB and I know eachother for quite a few years. He has a stunning 164E plus a 242 and is now searching (as he wrote) for a reliable, charismatic daily driver. That's where the Volvo 300 series kicks in

These cars are becoming rare in our country. The once popular Volvo 300 series is now a rare sight - most of them were scrapped by RWD racers  or rust  or both

Sorry, forgot to tell you that nowadays is virtually impossible to import cars to Portugal, due to an absurd tax policy imposed by our government...

We can find here and there some good 340's with Portuguese registration, with princes ranging from 400€ to 1500€. But they're scarce...
