Some may have suspicions that I'm a little 'odd' occasionally,

Admittedly some of my interests involve dark and dank places under the earth - and whilst grubbing about in an arcane tome today I came across this:-

Parked next to the Wanstead Sub-Regional (Nuclear) Control Bunker
(seems to be finished in anti-flash white)

Royal observer corps group HQ? I'm another underground places person :) been to a few ROC posts and had a great time exploring RAF bempton before it was bulldozered, used to be an experimental radar place IIRC. Visited a few ROTOR bunkers but never got to go underground for one reason or another
