These low millage cars keep coming up.
I've just ended up with a car that had been sat in a garage in Holyhead for a fair few years. Originally sold by Tyn Lon and spent all of its live on the island knocking up a staggering 26,000 miles. It does need some work and has rusted badly around the windscreen scuttle.

It was too dark for any photos but I managed some close ups with the flash.
The only good photo
and then the problem areas starting with the rust on the corner of the scuttles going up the pillars
and the other area that needs sorting is a scrape on the wing
the rest of the car so far is exactly what you would expect from a low millage car with like new seats and now wear on the steering wheel and other controls.

D means it was registered between 1 August 1986 and 31 July 1987. So it's almost certainly a 1987 model year car.

Incidentally, my mother's 340 was also a D registration car, purchased from the same dealership on Anglesey. D875 VEY was the number plate.

Regardless of mileage that looks like extraordinary rust on the A pillars. I've seen them go pretty bad there, but that's pretty crazy - especially considering the mileage. Great interior though

The rust is bad there for some reason. A car I recently stipped was very rusty but the scuttle was 100% solid so I have cut the complete area out ready to weld in to this one. From what can be seen from the outside the rot will be worse once you get into it
