Saabs are cheap to buy and becoming a popular choice for engine swaps. The easy swap is to use the 740 or 940 turbo lump and that mates to 360 running gear

What power can the 360 running gear take? If I go saab it will be around the 280hp markclassicswede wrote:The easy swap is to use the 740 or 940 turbo lump and that mates to 360 running gear
Re: Hello from bucks
Maybe if your gentle on it, it might survive for a little while. But 280hp is not advisable on the running gear. 3th gear is the weakest gear, but the diff will probably fail before that happens.

Re: Hello from bucks
Had a little think about engines and ive got a 2.0 omega engine and running gear. its got around 130 hp and is a good runner so i might have a look into doing a little tuning with that and see what happens. not going to be easy fitting it, but im sure i will come up with something lol.
still no photos as it been to dark to get a good photo but here a little clip of the exhaust ive just fitted
