Re: Mac
Great to hear you're suffering much less.
Did the NHS not replace the gut bacteria with a poo transplant?
Now the phone's working, I expect to see a backlog on 1.7 minters to appear in the offers section.

Mac, superb, you do have a way with words
Hope all the insides are up and running before the diet-unfriendly Christmas period really gets going ...

Re: Mac
Fine!
Mac has asked me to let people know that his shonky, fly-by-night telecommunications provider is currently suffering some technical difficulties and consequently he is currently unable to respond to phone calls or emails at present. He will let everyone know when they are back up and running, but just in case anyone had tried to contact him and received no response, he thought it best to let everyone know the reason.
And for the men in skirts wherever they may dwell;
Jings, Crivens, Help Ma Boab! The Big Yin's phone's awfae bollocksed. Ye canna get hold of him 'till Wednesday. Och aye, Hoots Mon, the caber etc.
For the Norn Iron lot;
Lut me tull yew! The big man's phones banjaxed. Noi, ye can't tork tae hum until Wednesday. No Popery here!
For the sausage eaters;
Achtung. Herr Mac hat ein kleine telephoneiren apparat problem. Es ist kaput. Normalische service ist am mittwoch. Ende.
And in case other nationalities were looking;
Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Himself has no phone. Ah, sure, won't he be having one on Wednesday, to be sure.
There's irritating! Mac has no phone at the moment, it should be back by wednesday, look you. Leeks, daffodils, We'll keep a welcome in the hillside...
Ere my lover, that there Mac baint got no phone. Ee'll ave one be Wednesday, look.
Haw, he haw, he haw. Le Mac as no phone, not one. Zere may be one sometime

Re: Mac
Indeed! That is an insult to The Mac.
I tend to think of The Mac as a V12; in theory it should be smooth but there is an inherent roughness to it, it is fantastically complicated, a wild extravagance, totally and utterly unnecessary, but the world would be a colder place without it......!
