Hi all.

Tomorrow I will be flying up to Scotland from the South coast to collect my "new" 360 GLT. It was first registered in January 1983. I was wondering, what was the actual launch date of the 360 GLT and what is the earliest surviving example left? This will be the 6th 360 GLT I've owned - and the 8th Volvo 300 Series. I think they're brilliant!

I dont recall mk1 GLTs in the UK but there were 2L 343 in other countries. So I think 83 must be the earliest, and January obviously early 1983, worth more investigation.

the early models 340 and 360; infact all of modelyear 1983 are beginning to become quite rare year since they tend to rust even more than normal 300's

true the mk1's got a 2L in other countries, these were labeled with an S at the end of the badge. 343 or 345 DLS and GLS
