Greetings from New Zealand

Post by Otago_Ovlov » 14 Mar 2018 12:56 am

Hi all, I've been lurking on here for a while now. I bought myself a reasonably tidy 1983 360 GLT after getting back from the UK in January after seeing the work my brother's
put into restoring his 360 (he's 360beast on here).

Anyway, the car is an '83 GLT in white, 156k kms from new. Has a few small issues which I hope to sort out before winter. Mainly a leaking boot seal, small rust bubble under the front screen, p/s rear door is rotten and soft front suspension (any recommendations....) oh and the rear exhaust that knocks on any type of bump in the road (straight pipe it with one middle silencer?)

I'll post photos up when I get a chance, what's the best site for uploading images to?

Cheers

Welcome to the forum, look forward to seeing pictures of your car!

Photobucket is no longer recommended unfortunately, you could try flickr or uploading them to the forum direct ("Upload attachment").

Cheers

Alright bruv, use Flickr photobucket is shite.

Straight pipe it, you know what mine sounds like.

For the boot seal I used the one off my 760 donor and it fits fine if a little thicker so requires more force to shut it and needs the length chopping down slightly.
