Just thought I would introduce myself.
Grew up in Volvos, my Dad had loads of them from 144's through to 760's.
Spent time in Sweden some years back where Volvos just make perfect sense.
Just acquired an 89 340 1,7 to use for Classic trials, can't wait to get it on the road!!
I am going to sift through the forum for any info on trials prep, specifically ride height raising, but any thoughts would be appreciated!!

Welcome to the forum, sounds like you ha e a decent project. There is someone on here in Australia who uses a 360 GLT for rallies and he has raised it. I am being blind and can't see the thread but someone will be able to find it.

It's a one-owner-from-new car that's been stood for a while.
Very sound, but smells a bit inside.
I couldn't find anything around the forum either, so I guess it's OK to start a new topic.

Blue one advertised on the Volvo forum?
Is it running?

Might be worth messaging him for all of the details.

Not running ATM, but Volvo dealership service history gives me hope.
Going to try and run it this week, so watch this space.
I'm really pleased with it, especially as it was only just up the road from me.
Thanks for finding the link, some useful info there.
