I get PM notifications, but not post reports. You can turn the former on or off yourself, but not the latter.

I only get PM notifications from certain users - none of the moderators' replies to my PMs generated an e-mail notification but some users' messages do result in e-mails (such as when I am chasing members of the Erskine clan for parts ;-).

That's strange - mine are pretty reliable. Of course sometimes I read the notification and forget about it... :)
