Hello new 83 360gls owner

Post by craicedup » 30 Sep 2020 08:58 pm

Hi guys just acquired a stripped 360 GLS
New on here so I'll be plumbing the resident gurus for info

Plans are b19
install twin 45s

And build spare b230 13m rod squirter engine to convert later if I'm not happy with the carbs. And if it doesn't go in the 360 it'll be in the 240 estate.

Pics to follow when I organise all of the parts

Cheers
Dec

Sounds like a good plan! The rods in the B19 are roughly a match for the 13mm ones in the later engines. You'll be wanting a cam as well as the carbs. The stock one is very tame. Kg Trimning, Classic Swede or Kyrkmotorsport in Sweden - one of them should be able to sort that out.

Welcome to the forum, I am a relative newcomer here as well but have received a lot of great replies from an enthusiastic bunch of people. Loads of useful information on here if you have a browse and search.
Good luck with your build.
Cheers Dave
