Time to kill the mood.

My mates dad made a turkey and gave some to the cat, who then choked on it, which didn't go well for his cat of 18 years 😔😔

Thankfully our Christmas was Emmerdale (and all other slit your wrists depressive soaps) free.... :D

The turkey was roasted nicely and we had a great few days at home, always like it when Santa brings the boys lego as I get called in to help :D Out of hibernation today with a socially distanced outdoors meeting with my folks....cracking day it was too.

Cats - they own their owners and have no loyalty.... used to have cats years ago when young....
Currently doing battle with the neighbours cats who like to download on our lawns...
You have had some really old cats their Jon, they must have had a great life ! :D

If my memory is working correctly i’m still about - older, crumblier and much grumpier.

We are still here, my dearest Mac, though you have departed us last Saturday to drive your redline in the skies.
I am grieving your loss and will miss you enourmously my friend as you left us too soon.
Rest in peace my man.

Saddened to hear that, I was due to give Mac a call for an informal chat as we had been emailing over the past few months on various subjects 300 related. I am saddened that I won't have the chance now - from what I gather he was quite a character and a fountain of knowledge, a sad loss for 300 enthusiasts. RIP.

A real loss to us all.
This forum does hold a huge wealth of knowledge that Mac was able to share with us.

I will miss him greatly

I am truly saddened by this, he will be missed.
He helped me so much, my 340 would not be anywhere as complete and working if it were not for mac.

You will be missed.

My deepest sympathies to the family.

Please do let us know if there's a memorial website.

Mac did the front brake callipers on Red Ness gratis.

Sh*t I missed this for some reason. I'm well up cr*p street now. My deepest sympathies to the family. Oh cobblers, cobblers...

Its terrible when a stalwart of a hobby passes on - so much knowledge and enthusiasm lost. I have experienced this in my other hobby of restoring stationary engines, a whole forum of 15+ years of knowledge was lost with the passing of one chap who selflessly ran it but it went down soon after with no warning. It certainly left many floundering and wondering where to turn next.
I was hoping to speak to Mac about the steering and fuel injection system on my GLT. Very sad indeed.

Very sad news, Mac was a hell of a character and a wealth of knowledge - he's helped me out no end over the years with various 300's and I've learnt a lot from from him too. RIP.
