I like, 'The friendly Volvo forum' part on the original, but how about adding, for 340 and 360 owners, to make it more obvious. I know we have the images, but, perhaps it'd be good to make it as obvious as possible.

I do like the symetrical look, and Dekays does show both the hatch and saloon which is good. Perhaps that, but with the Volvo font and 'The friendly Volvo forum for 340 and 360 owners'

Sorry, of course anyone is welcome here, even Hugh with his, well I can't say it ;)

It's just that the site is aimed towards 340's and 360's, and making this clear may enourage people to come here more than if it was a general Volvo site, as they will realise that there will be more specific information.

We love you really :D

I like the ideas, how about something similar to the brochure cover, so that both hatch and saloon are seen, as well as the nose, however I think the head on view needs including. Good work guys.

Why not even use the image from the brochure but in greyscale?

Good work men! I go off for a couple of days and look what happens...

I do like the idea of having the saloon and hatchback rears on, but I'm not too sure about the font. The caps font looks a bit too 'shouty' to me. Also, do we need to specifically mention that it is a site for 340 and 360 owners? After all, the clue is in the URL and I think it may be good not to try and cram too much onto a little card.

Two font examples follow to see which is easier on the eye...

Instead of the caps font.. how about trying it with the VolvoBroad font, would look better IMO.

but then it would be all in caps by default

I re-did it last night to the VP template using volvobroad but I've had a problem uploading it as my ftp server is down

Ofcourse it'll be in caps, IMO it looks better being in caps anyway - but the VolvoBroad font isn't quite so bold as the 'caps font' used on the card below - which is what I meant.
