When i spoke to him at the show, he said it was just the radio really, as the judges looked down at any accesories not genuine Volvo, and also non bloody Volvo Bateries! Crazy

Mark - You've lost me now....Aymat asked who made the sign in front of MY car, when it was actually George's silver GLT hatch.

The list of mods are...are you ready?!
1) Gauges,
2) Stereo,
3) Rear head restraints,
4) Hot-air intake removed (pending working valve!)
5) Illuminated electric window switches
6) Aerodynamically moulded sunroof (Link)
7) Non-Volvo battery...

But if they asked...
8 ) R-Sport GT6 cam guv

I was really in non-standard because that where all the guys I travelled up with were, and because of the strict judging thing...but they were much more relaxed this year.

i think i'd be winning on number of mods then..

from a standard 340 gl..

non-volvo battery
non-origional tyres

headlamp gaurds
roofbars
guages
stereo
parcel shelf
sunroof
spoiler
bodycoloured bumpers
alloy wheels (maybe, perhaps..)

what have you done to your sunroof? just looks b8ggered in that link

Yeah, that was a joke...it is just buggered...
I have a 'new' one, but I haven't had chance to paint it properly yet....still a bit blotchy, and now we've lost the weather for spraying...

probably best to do the final coat with it in place on the roof, so it blends in well.

Base-model ones didn't have lumbar support adjustment. Not sure about a DL. Easy Aymat - you just have to stick it in 'modified' like me!!

The colour match is excellent as it is actually, so I don't think I'll worry about that. Genuine Volvo spray cans, remember what I said a week or two ago

The normal seats for the DL had the opened headrests and no lumbar support adjustment.

i can vouch for that - rev gauge is the easiest thing in the world to fit.

Not really because it's the old instrument panel here, not the VDO. One day I've tested with the VDO panel, everything was working except the rev gauge

I've read somewhere that the wiring was probably missing....
