Pop up adds? I seem to be getting a pop up advert when I go to the hompage, but only the first time each day, or something like that. At first I didn't realise that it was V3M, but now I think it must be, as this is the only page I have open and a Dell add pops up. Are these nessesary now we have donations to fund the site?

Yeah I know the problem... and there is no link between the need for funds and the pop ups... 
trust me, I would never do that cause I hate pop ups soo much and I don't want to see that here...
There is a statistics counter on the homepage since 2 years now, it was from NEDSTATS (working very good), but that company has changed, it's webstats4u.com and their services are also different... with a stupid pop up now! I'll remove it... but it's a shame cause there was interesting statistics!

Dude, with the amount of bells and whistles that this hosting comes with, it must have logs, and usually they have a nice front end that will be easier to see!

Err, I got the same add yesterday, but I wasn't visiting V3M... I hope this isn't spyware or something instead, I use Firfox and a scan with MS AntiSpyware found nothing... I've also got Symanec Internet Security and ZoneAlarm on all the time

nope, and i've no pop-up blocking stuff on this site - sounds like you've some sort of sponsorship program installed
