V3M moderation

Post by Duvel78 » 31 Dec 2005 02:06 pm

To prevent situations with a member causing trouble on different parts of the forum, I've created a "V3M moderation team" able to edit all the posts... The members of that group are of course the 'old' moderators
Collection: '78 343 Black Beauty, '82 345 GLS, '83 340 DL 2.0, '84 340 DL vario, '88 360 GLT 5d (2x) & 4d (2x), '89 GLT, '91 340 vario
Dad's cars: '87 340 vario, '89 340 vario
Lot of donors cars and parts...
V3M for life!

Good move Aymat! I think this makes the most sense, as I have sometimes editted comments that have been posted under my area of control, but the people able to edit in other areas haven't been around at the time, which can be frustrating. Also then, the people deliberately setting out to cause trouble could see who the moderators were for each section, and who was online, so could post in the areas out of their control, knowing the comments could remain untouched for a while.

The immature people who come into our community to cause trouble, take the mickey out of our interests, and generally be a PITA should grow up and find something better to do, like get a life.......
