and how the hell do i remove the circled??

presumably i just have to 'unscrew' it

the only thing ive got that fits it, is a wrench + torque bar, and i cant get the damn thing to move

why....

all this time wasting on my car, while i couldve bought a race one for 1k$

alright alright, so maybe i was a bit hasty with that post, but when there is little guidance in the book, i panic!!

it turns out i do have volvo special tool 5862 after all, this is what it looks like :

its just a nut basically

i have a screw driver in the sway bar/stut hole, with a tension bar, and just tread on the wrench

A hammer and drift will also do the job should you not a spanner of suitable size.

I love Volvo special tools, when me and Andy (Pettaw) had the head off Kar teh other day, we needed some special Volvo tool, thinking I might see if I can sell it back to the VOC tools service or similar, cos us a fortune ;)

(Well, 2 M8 or M10 (can't remember now...) bolts and 2 big washers!)

There is one special tool you con not do with out and that is the rear hub puller for the Pv/amazon and p1800. It is an absolute must. I did get one made but no ordinary puller will do the job.
