Welcome. :) I happen to believe you've also joined the friendliest car forum out there too!

I don't know which part of Wales you're in, but if you're fairly central, why not come to the Ludlow meet this Sunday? Maybe we can take a look at those wipers...

cheers

James

Wipers are a common problem. Usually the motors themselves.

We ask stupid questions :?:

Whats wrong with finding out how many parts make up a typical Volvo 300

But hello there, and gratz on the 300 purchase, I am convinced this is the best car forum there ever was. :D

Which Wales are you in North or south?

Ile of Anglesey 8) its north wales for people like me, who did'nt realize it was an island before i decided to move here???? as for the wipers I noticed that I had them after i brought the car, so I thought I would see if they worked... I was'nt supprised when they did'nt.... but it,s not a big deal, its a good car, for £285 I expect a few things to be wrong, it starts in a fashion and once its warm it dos'nt stall, the distributer dos'nt like moisture WD40 is doing the trick. I like the style and like all the storage nooks and cranies on the inside.

any way rattled on for long enough,

cheers Vince.

did you know they are only supposed to work together with the windscreen washer pump?

so, not together with the normal windscreen operation.
