Hello!
I was advised to join as i'm planning on building a 343 drift ar as a(nother) project.
I know foggy from turbobricks.com and talked to a few others.
My car is a 1988 volvo 740 GL 2.0i, soon to have gle interior and air con, this is my daily drive.
i'll post my ideas and plans for my project in another thread and would appreciate any comments/info/ideas you may have.

Hmm... these 300s are becoming a bit too popular for my liking recently.
I might have to find a new uncool car to get excited about if this sort of thing carries on.

an axiam Kubota?
with a 500cc engine developing 12.9KW of pure unadulterated french power (at 3,500 rpm)!
oh and did i mention it has a Record elbow room of 127 cm?

Ah but the engine dimensions aren't that much different from the hyabusa GSXR1100 engine, so that could be fun.
I've always harboured a sordid affection for the trabants, well we're all unique aren't we!!

As nice as it is for other people to appreciate our cars, they are indeed getting to popular, and once you've had one you can't get away. Soon they're going to be classics like VW beetles, and like the dodge charger they stopped at their peek instead of being dragged on into the future and ruined with FWD or something

I'm worried about the effect all of this drifting is going to have on insurance prices

Let's hope the insurance companies carry on thinking of them as grandad-mobiles
