Has decided it would be fun to reshape my bonnet, I can't tell you how ***** and ************* and ** and **** this makes me feel.

It might not be much - but I like my car and I spend a time trying to improve it, then this happens.

Oh and they smashed up my wifes 340GL - anyone want it?

There certanly is some dickheads out there, a few weeks ago i wen tout in the morning to see the roof of my car caved in, a bit more of a look reveild four footprints going over my car, one on the bonnet, don't know how that didn't dint, two on the roof, and one right in the middle of the rear windscreen, i'm amazed it didn't cave in. the roof popped out with a good whack from inside the car, but it's still creased.

Bastards

Closes I came to that was getting scraped in a narrow sidestreet in the 265GL.

I knew I should not have parked there.....

Where abouts in Melbourne are you Delahare?

I get the impression it's Dandy or Broady.....

Cheers

Close, Ferntree gully, but i am in a quiet sidestreet, so i think it waqs just a random act by some dickhead youths as opposed to a regular occurence.

990 mate, that's terrible....... how bad is it? Repairable or another bonnet time? What does it look like they've done?

This really annoys me, it's mindless vandalism with a lack of respect for anyone elses property. Although the 300's are pretty low on the thieves lists, they blend in so well, that they then become the target of the muppets who assume because it's old it doesn't matter. How very wrong they are.

I hope you get it sorted out mate, I'd seriously consider some CCTV or a couple of nights sat about keeping an eye on things.

I've luckily not had anything major happen, but it's only a matter of time. I did return to my car in a car park once to find about eight underage drinkers using my car as both a leaning spot and to hide them from the view of anyone else. Bottles and cans on the roof and bonnet, leaning on the entire n/s of the car with their metal studs on jeans etc. Some choice words and a big lunge with the bonnet on reversing made me feel somewhat happier, but what right do they have to use my car in the way they did, possibly damaging it in the process?

Thanks for the comments mate :) , I can live with it for now - a bit of dent pushing and similar - but ultimately it looks like a new bonnet is required :x

Oh dear, what is the country coming to :(

There really are some idiots around, and it always worries me when the car goes out, will it come back looking the same :( At least there's a good group of us here to hopefully source any new bits if needed :(

So sad to hear that yet again our education system has triumphed.

Bad luck mate - the words bat, knee, baseball and capped spring to mind - please re-arrange as you need!

Seriously, I cannot fathom cretins like that - the system and the do-gooders teach them to have no respect for anyone or anything - and frighteningly they are the future of this country. My horse gets higher daily - I despair. (I really must be getting old - the wife tells me I have started to rant at the haunted fishtank - especially the news - not a good sign).

John - you have my sympathy.

Mac.

Thanks all - Pete, MJ, Mac - at least I know I can go somewhere where the people are friendly and helpful.

It's good to have a place like this :D

Regards,

John

Yeah we all have to hate the little thugs together for more effect...

Why am I reminded of the Hoda song, Hate something, change something, make something better... I guess that's the job of all parents, and whitnesses of thug behaviour :(

Power to your Baseball / Cricket bat (delete at appropriate) Unfortunatly you'd go to jail and they'd get compenstion *cry* Stupid law makers

I'm so annoyed to hear this mate, it's such a shame when some mindless bastards do this. I really hope you manage to replace the panels cheaply. Bets of luck matey

I hope you manage to get the barstewards and that at least one of them broke an ankle in the process

Sorry to hear that :( Hopefully possible to find replacement parts for car.

Once not so long time ago I was out bit later than usual and found some suspicious fella near my car, shithead was trying to steal neighbourgs car. I think he won't try again, at least so long as it takes to get his hand fixed, next time I break both hands, he felt, was no my fault...

I'm too afraid what future might be, really just afraid...

as we're having a cheerful thread the reason my gold 340 didnt make it to the national was because on the friday night some stupid football fans on the way from the pub (6 of the them as seen by my neighbour ) decided to take a baseball bat to my windscreen....

a few days later the RAC windscreens got a new screen but I still had to seal it with extra silicon ( I'll post the brand at some point... very good stuff ) and then refit the silver strip ).

If you need any help or anything please pm me, im only in manchester and rochdale isnt far at all from here....

all the best

Shimon

Thanks all,

I feel like planning a Neighbourhood Watch with attitude (you know what I mean)

I assessed additional damage tonight

Worst of it was our poor 340, which was awaiting post accident repair has now been well and truly put beyond any idea of economical repair - windows/panels/engine/electricals.
And she was stored around the back of my house - I think I have a Volvo hater in the street !! :x

Rochdale eh.

pop down the Brittannia Inn pub and tell the landlord that Mick from the tv licencing task force sent you
( I was only there 15 years ago hes sure to remember me )

I stayed there for a fortnight and had my fiesta nicked on the middle Saturday night , they found it on the Tuesday parked nicely at the bottom of Blackpool tower less the tools.

they are a lovely bunch in there and they will probably track the little scrotes down and shoot them in the balls for you
(seems like suitable justice to me )

stay overnight if you can they serve the best brekfast in the North and you might even get invited out by the landlord on a pub crawl ,

believe me its an experience you wont forget
