Work is done but not finished on time; it was the final essay for the diploma

There is nothing I can do about that, no resort, just admit it

Hey, I hate to hear such despondancy on such a positive site, originated by you I believe

. I hope that your college are understanding, if as you say that the work is done, just not finished on time then you may still get away with it, I've known it done at many colleges. As you say, admit it, see if they will give some leeway, not many places like to see their students fail, reflects badly on the college. Sincere good luck.
