Hello again dear Volvo 300 Mania members...

As you can see I'm still alive after this short period of absence and I'll try to be active again gradually.. (lot of messages to read and then the answers!!)

Important updates are coming soon cause I've received a lot of pics through the "contact" email address and I've collected new documents.

I've also met someone living 5 km away from me (Amaury who has bought a wonderful 78' Volvo 343), it's the first member from Belgium and it's a good thing cause I felt quite alone with my passion for the 300 series in my own country!

Practical things will be concretized and/ or solved: the Volvo 300 Mania sticker , 5lab's wheels caps (do you still need them?), Foggy's headlight wipers (the money came back to me, postal orders are funny!) and so on...

My two Volvo's 300 feel good and I hope it's the same with yours!

still after the wheel caps if you got them mate.. but i've got a newer toy too :)

Ah, excellent - you haven't forgotten about the wipers I'm beginning to get worried that they'll seize up!

btw, if you want another set of wipers that work.. kinda, then drop a couple of white wiper blankers in with the centre caps and i'll send you mine!

Yeah in fact a second set would be fine, one for the 340 and another one for the 360... Don't worry, my old center caps are for you.

like, when i take my wipers out, i'll have a hole, i need something to fill that hole, in white (if they are colour coded)

Oh ok, it's understood, very easy to find but not in white, you have to paint it.

I'll have electric mirrors but I didn't know you had that too.

the electric mirrors are mine i'm afraid - not for sale, they both work as far as i know though

i'm thinking of using a 4 door central locking kit on nessy, and using the rear lock actuators to open the rear windows.. d'ya think it'd work?

You've seen the small electrical motors used for the central locking? It's not powerful enough...

i mean, replace the normal opening mechanisms entirely.

The idea is good but the question is: how to do that properly...

The wiper blankers were never body-coloured from the factory.

You can't get rid of the wipers dude...the chicks dig them (and lets be honest, its about the only thing about a 300 that they do like...!!)
