i have a 360 glt grp a with the following (brief :lol: )spec;
SHELL
Built in 1983 from a new rhd hatchback shell,fully seam welded,chassis rails skidded,full cage
14 points fixing,going through bulkhead to suspension top mounts,with alloy strut brace,door
bars,rear seat plus driver/co driver cross over bars,strut mount and turrets strengthened,foot
well checker plated with co drivers foot rest.Alloy 10mm guards,front chassis mounted,rear
tank/diff/gearbox,utilising a standard fuel tank.Additional oil pressure and temperature
guage,plumbed in and hand held extinguishers,4point harnesses,motordrive and omp seats
with alloy mounting brackets.Battery box and spare wheel carrier(2wheels)in the rear.
ELECTRICAL
lighting; engine bay,interior,rear hatch,co drivers,highlevel,door(flexi)and floor potti point,alloy
spot light brackets with spot and fog points both switched from side or dip fully relayed and all
individually switched using the lucas system off works lotus sunbeams.
switched fan and twin fuel pumps.
STEERING/SUSPENSION
Front; works lhd sunbeam thick tube high ratio rack,rose jointed,strengthened and modified
steering arms, crossmember,bottom arms,2 1/2 "adjustable bilsteens
Rear: competition single leaf springs with competition bushes,sach sockers,panard kit and
rose jointed link bars.
BRAKES
all pipes internal with aeroquip hoses.hydrolic handbrake and adjustable front/rear bias valve.
Front; volvo 240 4pots with carlton vented discs and mintex pads.
Rear; 71 cooper alloy 2 pots and discs with lockhead pads.
TRANSMISSION
Straight cut,close ratio 5 speed box with direct top 5th(excellent choice of ratios),choice of
LSD's clutch or power lock and choice of final drive ratios(3.47,3.91,4.2,4.78)and cosworth
drive shafts
ENGINE
B19E 1986cc 8v,lightened and balanced,grpA camshaft with adjustable gear,BDA belt
tensioner,gas flowed polished and ported big valve head with competition springs and
caps,competition exhaust and 2 inlet manifolds(injection or twin 45).Full 2 1/2"(60mm)
competition exhaust.Lightened and balanced flywheel with alloy cover and paddle
clutch.Sump surge plate and alloy breather catchment tank.
INDUCTION
Twin 45 Dellortos with K&N style filters on competition manifold.
Modified LE injection system with adjustable fuel pressure(dash mounted adjuster)on
competition manifold.

ps 140bhp@wheels on injection@7000rpm alot more now with
the carbs !!
will rev to about 8500 but no point as power curves of at 7/7500.
i have the original homoligation papers form "federation internationale du sport automile"
group A/B papers issued to the car 1 fev 1984.

i can not take praise-the praise goes to the people who did
the work. volvo car bv helmond netherlands and cumbrian uk dealer built shell and engine and
HÖR built transmission.i know every nut and bolt on it though :wink: .
it really wants a lick of paint,orange maybe!
transmission is not too reliable,but engine and shell are mint.

What modifications do you have to do in order to fit te carlton
discs and the 240 4pot calipers?
