Is that the 1.8 GDI S40/V40? My friend has an S40 GDi, it would be nice to smoke him with my GLT. Although I think it would be close.
As for the most powerful thing I've driven, its just the 360!

Good stuff... although I'll be doing about 20mpg, and his does about 40... some weird clever stuff going on with the fuel economy with 'em!
Are you driving grace now then?

steve - its more economical, but he'd be lucky to get more than ~35 out of it, simply cos of the weight

They do seem very heavy cars - not sure on the specs. The fuel trip computer is strange though, it sometimes goes upto stupid figures like 70mpg, when cruising on motorways.

Ford Focus RS, I think it's about 215bhp. it was my mate's dad's 'company' car (police driving instructor), and as such was insured for anyone with a full uk licence... it was as fast as hell, but still a ford...
gimme an s60r any day, 300 brake and still a volvo!!!

Mum's V40 2.0T - 160bhp. I think I'd lose in a race with it....by a country mile. Interestingly, its only about 6" longer than the 360, and doesn't feel at all big!
cheers

The most powerful i've driven for torque was a 4L ford falcon that was on loan while my 360 was being fixed, for top end hp would be my old daihatsu charade 1.0L 3cyl turbo was the ticket.
I've been behind the wheel of a Ferrari 308GTS while it was out on a test run after a FULL overhaul (engine, gearbox, exhaust, suspension) and trick up (i dont think any part of the engine had not been forged, blueprinted, balanced and cryogenically treated...)But this thread is for cars, not weapons.

ford falcons surely gotta have more hp than a chirade? i mean i know them things had 100hp, but to get less than 100hp from a 4l engine would be unbelievably lazy
