Welcome Erick, I believe I have seen your posts on the VOC forums and V3C?

I think the blueline CVT pictures I saw on V3C were yours, looks awesome, we didn't get 1.4 bluelines in the UK. Any pictures of your other cars too?

Welcome, Erick! Always good (for me) to see more people this side of the channel joining ;-)

Did the 340 "Winner" get any extra equipment?

Hi to all,
After being away for some time, I thought I'd look in again.
I'm still in to 340's besides these two and my Ascona
1987 340 Winner CVT, 3 door [parts car]
1989 340 GL Blueline CVT, 5 door [my wifes daily driver]
1972 Opel Ascona 1.9 S Luxus Automatic. [my daily driver]

I have a few more now:
1987 340 DL CVT, 5 door [parts car]
1989 340 GL Blueline 5 speed, 5 door [parts car]
1986 340 DL 4 speed, 5 door.

The 1986 340 is Arctic Blue and will be my daily driver in about a year or a year and a half. The plan is to put the interior, the engine and the gearbox from the 5 speed Blueline into the 1986 340 Arctic Blue and change it into a GL :D
And I'm going to use LPG as fuel.

Wow, thats a pretty cool collection.

Cant believe someone thought it would be a good idea to fill a sill with filler!

Looks nice and warm and dry where you are.
Exellent conditions for giving a Volvo long life. 8)

Love that Opel.
Reminds me of a Viva from the back, and an A series Manta from the front.
Lovely.

It's far from that, in Holland. I took the photo today, it just happens to be very nice weather.

Yup, if there's no vacuum leak, they drive very fine. That's why we're going to change to manual transmission.
I'm first going to make my car road worthy, the coming year - year and a half, and when that's done the wifes car gets a manual trans, or we look for one with a manual trans.
It's a pithy we both like driving an automatic, but I don't like the CVT because it uses the engine vacuum to operate, 9 out of 10 times the wife has a problem with the car, its a vacuum problem sm2 .

:( I haven't had any problems with all mine so far, but I maintain the whole system.
