Now I think most of us know about the Group A car, but what about the B-plate one?

cheers

B plate one is intresting.

Bilbo, the A plate is the one you and Sven have right? Sure I've got a vid of it on an airfield somewhere, do you know what it competed in before? I'd love to see some more and bigger pics of the rally cross cars too, some of the leaflets I got from John Smith had a few double page spreads in, I'll try and get those scanned!

According to HPI it was a 1984 1.4 340 GL

The DVLA has a Date of Liability of 01/10/1990. I'm guessing that's when the next tax disk is due? If so it's not been taxed for 17 years meaning it's unlikely to still be around :(

That means it had Sven driving it on a rally, never needed a tax disc again

Sven, all the 300's have always been in scotland mate, most of the FOTV3 club members are up there ;) They have any nat B's up there? From what I've heard of the roads, would be sweet. Then again, whenever I visit norfland I say I'm gonna enter a rally up there... really different to our yellows.

Me and our kid did a couple north of the border.Pure head bashers.Still got 9th O/A on one and names in MN.
Go figure that we had a mare.
If ya go take a good nav and remember ya'll get toasted by the locals

Don't seem to get many entries but having seen newcomer instructions it's no surprise.Don't think many run Nat B permit-think they are summit like navigational whatever......same old carry on as Nat B,'cept ya cannae plot on the move. You're allowed but could do with Carol Vorderman in the boot if ya goin' to try it.

As for tax discs I hope you're only referring to when we lost one out the window on the Shaw a couple of yrs back.Cost me a tenner for a dup seem to remember
I'll have ya know the lil' black B plate is on its 3rd yr of road rallies with only a modified valance to show
Have a feelin' she'll be retired shortly tho'

Anyhows that B plater in the photo had a short life if MJ's detective skills are correct,85-90 shame......

That nav sounds like the stuff we should do... you ever heard about Wessex MC nav ;) Not that any of us can do it, but we're all damn good at cutting route

Only one folded valance!? Damn, I have to admit to one of them, carb bogged as I was going sideways towards a bank, couldn't get her to straighten! 3 years of nat B isn't bad at all though, almost the same as one Preston ;)
