Birmingham, what the hell is that all about

O.K. looked easy on the map, drop my fourteen year old off at a sports ground in Solihull for athletics training and then drive to cadburys world in Bournville . Bloody hell what a nightmare. kept getting lost despite doing it on AA routeplanner , everyone I asked for directions was still p*+!ed from the night before and all the women I asked had beards. Cadburys world was good though (once I bloody found the place ) coming back was even worse ended up going round the M42 coz some ejit directed me to Redditch. Next time I come I am going to ask for a V3M escort party to meet me LOL

I can only empathise with you, living in Birmingham I think its about the worst place I've ever driven in - it's certainly not easy to find your way around from different parts of the city, compared with other cities that I've driven in. The council seem to have gone mad with random traffic calming measures, red paint and bus lanes - money which would be better spent on fixing the bloody pot holes in the road!

Also the M42 south from Birmingham is utter useless.. 50mph restriction, a billion speed cameras and road 'works' without anyone actually working....
