Calendar Competition, Round 1 December & January
Calendar Competition, Round 1 December & January
So, just a small thought for a 2009 calendar, I don't mind running the competitions for this.
WE NEED YOUR PICTURES!
This will run much like the regular photo competition, the rules are easy!
We need pictures for both January and December (so we can get them made up in good time at the end of the year)
Use your imagination, it's got to look "seasonal"
Normal rules apply, entries to me at dave.kirkham@gmail.com
Closes 00:01 (Local Time) on the 1st of Feb

Spot on stuff Dave. I've been thinking of how the photo comps are a little drawn out and there's a lot of dead time where creativeness is left to wither away until the next comp kicks it into action again! So something ticking over all the time and that isn't relying upon a winner from the last round and nothing happening while the voting for the previous round is in action is cool! Plus we get to see shed loads more pictures if people get involved, which judging by the quality of some of the pictures since the photo comps have been running should be a real treat for us, as there has been a really high level of quality throughout.
Just to clarify, are we allowed to enter two pics each this time round if we like, one for Jan and one for Dec? And do we need to clarify which we think is Dec/Jan, or will this be decided in the voting, i.e. bundle all the pics into one thread, then two voting options, pick one pic for Jan and one for Dec? Add the total votes each pic receives in either thread and where ever the most votes have been placed for it as a month is where it ends up or something? Just trying to figure out how it will work!?
Pete

I've been waiting for some opportunity, but wintery weather has been a nadgers on the not side, we've not even had that many frosts!
I'll be in when I can actually take something that matches mate!

I need to get my old PC fired up, as the wintery pics are on there, and it decided not to boot up last time...... damn annoying. If not out comes the hard drive and link it up to the laptop, but that requires time, something of which I cannot seem to find, not sure where I left my spare time, I think someone stole it.
Either way, I'll see what I can do!
