new project volvo 340 saloon.

Look what i got: Its a 340 1700cc saloon. I found it just around the corner from work, it was on a drive way so i went and knocked the door and asked what they were doing with it, the old chap said that he had to give up driving and parked it up. It has no tax or test but thats no bother and in the glove box there is plenty of paper work(i will try and get some pic)

first i washed it so thats 1 job done.

I then filled with water and it leaked from a core plug.
what you think?

o and it cud do with 4xdoors can anybody help???

Why is it most saloons have a tow bar?

I will not ask what the plans are as I'm sure it will be top seceret

340 Saloons look badass I must say!

BTW If you decide to F7P it Lee lemme know if you need an engine as I know where one can be bought for pretty much peanuts :)

What about the Renault V6? Or a 5 cilinder whiteblock, or a 960 6 cilinder with turbo (search on volvo vöx amazon, nice example:d)

Did you make more then 1 valver then? If I only had the time...The valver is still in the shed.

i am looking at v6 options also i know of a skyline lump but i think that will need too much work.
i hope to keep everone informed with pics every step of the way.

Hmm, 5-cyl whiteblock in a 300, has that been done before?

Put D5 in it with mild tuneup, nobody will have similar and it would make few jaws drop as thing would be quick, damn quick to be exact ;)
