Ya all bunch of spammers, SPAMMERS I say :lol:

I'm wondering what will be future of our small community, 300 series cars are starting to be soon quite impossible to use as daily drivers, could be that there is soon only conservation and racing people here?

Jani you have a valid point. I would like to think that we should have between 5 - 10 years before it becomes totaly that way. I still see about 10 cars localy to me that are used as daily drivers

When looking sales announcements it looks like that 300 series has lot less of them than let's say 3 years ago. One day I did look and saw only 6, three years ago there was several pages, that usually tells story that car becomes rarity soon.

It's a shame to see that even in the countries where the 300 was most popular (UK and NL) the car is dying out. After 10 days in the UK over Christmas I saw no 300s. Same last weekend - three days in Holland and no 300s.

Having said that, I actually saw a MkII 343 DLS the other day in Bonn. That got me chuffed no end :D

The parts situation is irritating due to Volvo's advertising claims ("...for life", "Lifetime" Care sm61) but let's face it, it's not THAT bad, aftermarket service parts are still all there for the newer models. You try finding ANYTHING for a 1970's Ford.

Right, that's enough spamming for now ;-)
