plans for my volvo 340 blueline

Post by cantbassed » 01 Feb 2008 01:47 pm

hi i havnt posted much on here, iv had my blueline for a month and it hasnt moved off my dorve yet, part from me starting it up 2-3times a week.

im still trying to sell my other car so i can get the volvo off my drive.

well iv been thinking of little mods i can do it, heres my list and help would be great to how i can achieve these ideas.

Lowering: i know they have leaf springs at the back.... but have know clue what they are?? and normal springs at the front. im looking to lower it... 30mm-40mm nothing crazy as i have a dodgy driveway. so info would be great!

Wheels: i like my current alloys, though id get them sprayed black, but im interested in mini lites... i found another design and wondering if these,
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/toyota-starlet-tu ... dZViewItem

though they are on a starlet, would they fit a volvo???

Exhaust: i want a little bit of noise (all sound no go lol) iv always like side exits (just infront of the rear wheel), or would it be best a nice subtle 3" outly rolled.

thankyou for any help!

The front springs are coil springs and I can make any stiffness and drop you want. The rears springs are leafs (a flat peice of bar made of spring steel). To lower the back you need to fit spacing blocks in between the axle and teh spring to lower it.

You can made Mini wheels fit but you need to drill the holes out as they are to small. Vauxhall, VW nissan 4 stud wheels will fit and have pleaty available. If you wnat vovlo wheels look a 400 series cars

Exhaust enything can be done. I can get good stainless systems made but for what you want your local exhaust centre sould be able to do it
