I'd never even watched life on mars but I've been watching it all via the wonder that is on-demand TV. Watching the first episode it struck me that their attention to detail was fantastic. I really believed it was 2006.

Just watched the first episode recorded. WOW.

Keelie Hawes, in a short red mini dress and lace top stockings... and a red UR quattro... in the same shot, in the first 5 mins?!

And people have the cheek to say the license fee is a waste!

Great bit in the second ep, where the Quattro is flying through the tunnel towards the cliche stack of cardboard boxes. Then Hunt stops and says, "I'm not scratching this baby!"
