I thought that car was a 360? Do a search, there's a load of discussions on LSD's... as far as it stands theres not one that's a straight fit at the minute

there isn't, and there is a lot of random wanderings on the subject of putting dana 30 lsd internals (from a jeep etc) into a 360 diff but despite the hype, I'm sure no one has actually done it only mocked up an image or two to show it is possible. Depending on how much you are willing to spend you could try and pm bilbo on here as he has one and may know the location of another, but I'm talking lots and lots and lots of pennies!!!!
oh, and foggy mentioned being able to get one made for about £600? no doubt he will grace us with his presence soon
good luck, if you find a solution I would love to hear about it

bilbo does know of one. its £1000 IIRC and needs to have £3000 spent on it rebuilding it or something.

... or you need to get friendly with a chap named Albrecht Hör from Hör Motorsport. They fitted limited slip diffs to 300's in the Eighties (amongst other things).
Chances of finding one these days though are virtually zero. So sorry for the unhelpful post

Firstly, I'd get your Holset on there (good call....that 15G was far too small!), and work out whether or not the drivetrain will stand up to 400bhp. I suspect the answer will be no, in which case there's not much point in looking for an LSD for the standard 360 drivetrain.
cheers

for that kind of power you are definitely better off changing brand if you are seeking an lsd, as you will be fragging volvo transmissions frequently if you were to drive the car as hard as it deserves

No LSD available then...what drive train will fit??
anyone know any part nro's (and flow details) for big injectors??

Well there's nothing bolt-on available. Everything's more or less custom job. Most identical drive train can be found from a Porsche 928 but those aren't too cheap and require custom fabrication too.
http://www.landsharkoz.com/tech/stu/images/gear1b.JPG <- it's quite similiar compared to a 300-series one.
Some people have put in Getrag box placed at front with BMW diff or similiar diff with cv-joints and custom made prop shaft. But that kinda ruins the transaxle specialty factor.

Makkiver's got a Getrag from a BMW at front with a 500-series BMW diff and a shortened BMW prop.
One Swedish guy is building this
http://www.volvo300mania.com/forum-uk/v ... php?t=5828 That's quite a huge amount of custom fabrication but very nice and keeps the trans axle setup.
So everything requires a lot of thinking and fabrication, there's no quick solution if you plan to swap the Volvo drivetrain out.
I would first try with the Volvo drivetrain to see if you need stronger one before starting to think custom solutions.
This is a good place for injectors
http://www.racetronix.com/ good prices and reliable.
