that time of year again...

well it was that time of year when the silver 360 was due for its MOT.....needed a few jobs doing,mainly the manifold gasket which was blowing and a couple of new wipers but apart from that another years trouble free motoring!

yes, once the car reaches three years old we have the mot every year

Fake failed on a the drivers door handle being snapped and brake pads on Thurs, she's got ticket again though, had them all fixed and retested by Fri :D

Tester always says how clean she is underneath, which is true, if only I sorted out the top!

some MOT testers are real pains,this year he said my seat belt was slow returning[ie winding back in]which i thought was a bit lame. you could take your car to 1 garage and fail on many little things,take it to another and get a pass!!??!! it pays to find a good garage and keep going back as they remember the car and will also let you off with some minor things.

well, thats not a fail anyway its an advisory from my understanding. But yeah different test stations are very different in approach sometimes!
